ACID WASHED CARBON
Acid washed carbon is a more effective chlorine remover that standard activated carbon. With its
higher purity level brings a higher activity level. Manufactured with steam activation on coconut shells,
it gives the media a higher volume capacity. Used in ultra-pure water treatment systems requiring a
low overall conductivity and purity. Designed specifically for the removal of heavy hydrocarbons from
recovered condensate.

ARSENIC REDUCTION MEDIA
Our arsenic reduction media uses granular ferric hydroxide. It is an absorbent media that removes
hazardous substances from water selectively but sustains the natural content of minerals and trace
elements. The media will also remove some copper, zinc and lead making it perfect for drinking water
applications. We recommend many backwashes before commissioning as the media gives off a bright
red residue when first soaked.
