MAGNODOL
Magnodol is a more aggressive form of pH correction. It can raise the pH from below 5 to a level of 7.
However, the media is capable of overcorrecting and raising the pH past 7 if used in an incorrect
application.
This pH media can be used before iron removal treatment, by naturally raising the pH and dropping
out the iron in the solution more effectively as it travels through the manganese dioxide.
This media is sacrificial so will need topping up over time. We would recommend yearly top ups to
keep a high contact time and allow the media to be its most effective. The larger the contact time
afforded to the media, the higher the pH will be raised.

FILTER AG
Filter AG is a Filtration media designed to lower the levels of turbidity in water. It will filter down to a
nominal 20 microns and remove larger particles of turbidity. The media traps the particles of turbidity
in its filter bed. The total surface area of the bed within the vessel will dictate the peak flow rate of the
unit. Bed depth is only required for capacity, not flow rate.
Trapped turbidity particles are then released when the water flow is inverted, lifting the filter bed and
backwashing to drain through a control valve. It is important to take this into account when specifying
a system as for it to continue to work for the lifespan of the media, there will need to be adequate
backwash flow and pressure.
Filter AG is great at protecting equipment from turbidity, saving on cartridge filter replacements and
reducing the need for membrane changes.
