CARTRIDGE FILTERS
30” STRING WOUND CARTRIDGE FILTERS
String wound cartridges are made of FDA approved polypropylene string wound yarn on a
polypropylene core which strengthens the cartridge. It has a broad chemical compatibility, good
temperature resistance and low cost.
String wound cartridges are primarily used as the first stage of filtration. These cartridges are
characterised by excellent sediment absorption of sand, silt, rust and suspended solids from potable
water.
